My wife, Barbara and I started this business in 1992 as a means to support a very very expensive sport, namely Bench Rest. My wife had been in the sewing business for many years in all areas. Her experience included, sewing, costing, layout, cutting, supervisory positions, and into management, so it was only logical that the next step was opening our own business. I had complained about having to use a rag over my stock to prevent solvents that I was using from ruining the paint job on the stock, and also seeping into the bedding area and softening up the bedding. So between her expertise in the sewing world and my practical knowledge, we came up with our first STOKBOOT.

In 1994 we incorporated. We have, very slowly branched out into other areas of Protective Coverings. Our company does sub contract work for a leading race car suit company, but we intend to slowly concentrate on our products and to expand in those areas. As for myself I have been shooting competitively since 1976 attending my first Super Shoot in 1977
